Another chance to catch the Sankofa African Dance and Drum Ensemble

For those of you who missed their exciting performance at the Best of Brockport Dance, you'll have another chance to see one of the groups that opened that event. On April 26-29, the Sankofa African Dance and Drum Ensemble will be appearing at SUNY Brockport. Performing traditional African and Afro-Brazilian dances, the "infectious Afro-Brazilian rhythms and vitality that flow from dancer to drummer to audience member are a fitting finale to the dance series".  Performances are on April 26-28, at 7:30 pm, April 29th at 2:00 pm, at the Hartwell Dance Theater. Tickets are $12 General/$10 Seniors/$8 Students and are available beforehand by calling the Fine Arts Box Office at (585) 395-ARTS.
